In the past several hours, I’ve noticed the icon for New Posts in a thread doesn’t change to the No New Posts icon even after I read or post to a thread.
This is pretty tricial in the big picture of human existance, but I was just curious as to what might be causing this, or if anyone else noticed it?

I don’t have an official answer, but I have noticed that the new posts/no new posts tags often change for no apparent reason. If I click on the first thread, and I take a while reading it, some of the “new posts” threads are now “no new posts.”
If you read just one forum and have to sign off, is everything marked “you have read this?” I dunno.
It seems to have worked itself out. About a half hour after it started not updating the New Post icon, the board did a complete 180, and was marking everything as read.
And now it’s all better.
I’ve noticed this and I feel as if I’m racing against the clock, trying to read all the threads in which I have an interest before the board clicks over to “no new posts”.
What sort of time limit is there? How long have I got? Should I read/post faster?
