This seems to occur only with PDFs.
Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling Acrobat reader?
Gee, do you think you could give us less information to go on? 
What OS are you printing from? What app are the PDFs in? Have you tried different apps?
What printer? What exactly is “wrong” with the font? Have you tried form a different machine?
