That was undeniably Rush, wasn’t it?
Heavy business.
Pretty darn cool.
Well, you ought to know, right?
I just bought a bunch of Rush’s albums on CD recently (everything up to Signals; I didn’t care for their output after that). The remastering on them was very well done, and they sound terrific.
This doesn’t have quite the same feel as their early stuff, but it’s undeniably a pretty rocking track up to about the 6:30 mark. Excellent riff, decent vocals, good lyrics and great production.
When the album comes out, I hope that someone will post here about it and tell us if this is the best song or if the rest of the album is worth listening to.
Bo - I can understand why you may not like stuff from Signals on, don’t agree but understand. You might check out Vapor Trails and Snakes and Arrows, with the warning that VT was mastered poorly and a remaster has been promised at some point in the future.
But, two other songs are available off of Clockwork Angels. Caravan and BU2B were both released a couple of years ago. They are part of the CA suite that Headlong Flight is a part of. Indications are that they may have been rerecorded for the album.
Also, tour dates are official and tickets begin going on sale next week.
