I searched for mottos after reading a slightly humourous Canadian equivalent for provincial mottos. Most are not particularly good, and some Canadians are touchy about regional stereotypes.
I still think Florida might consider changing their state motto to Man! Florida Man, man. but this might not go down so well in these progressive times.
