Well, they finally opened a sushi bar in the town I live in and it is really awesome. I have previously had to drive about 60 miles to get any sushi worth eating and was looking VERY forward to having one closer. I’m telling everyone I know how good it is and trying to get this guy as much business as possible so he will be able to stick around longer. I went in yesterday for lunch and he had run out of nori, so I guess he’s getting some pretty good business. Here’s the kicker, the restaurant is only half sushi bar, the other half is a chinese buffet. They have some rolls on the buffet that are really good in their own right, but the rolls you order off the menu are truly spectacular. I’m quite sure I’m addicted to this stuff and hope to be able to cope with not having it on a daily basis. But for the meantime, everytime we go out to eat, I want to go there. It’s driving my wife nuts. So, in short… WOO HOOOO ! ! ! ! just thought I’d share my good fortune with all the dopers out there.
