Here is the link to the new drama written by Sorkin (Creator of West Wing) about a Saturday Night Live type of show.
Cast looks good and with Sorkin writing it, it looks like the first “must see” on the upcoming fall television schedule.
Oh, and further down on the link is mention of the new show, “Him and Us” which, if I am not mistaken, was created by Elton John and is about a Gay rock star and his band.
Aaron Sorkin writing for Matt Perry, Brad Whitford and Timothy Busfield? I’m there. I noticed a couple of other familiar names from the Sorkin Repertory Company on that list too (I’m looking at you, Evan Handler.) Sorkin, Schlamme, W.G. Snuffy Walden and Mindy Kanaskie = TV drama goodness.
According to the IMDB page, Busfield’s going to be a director, too, which is a good thing.
I’m interested to see how D.L. Hughley handles Sorkin dialogue, and how long it takes Richard Schiff, Janel Moloney and Joshua Malina to show up.
