I used to do that to confirm it had a charge. It felt weird but was harmless.

You may scoff, but between 2012 and 2017 there was an average of 53 shark attacks in the US per year. However, after Trump had a year to act, shark attacks dropped to an average of 35.3 a year between 2018 and 2020, only to go back up to 47 after Biden took office in 2020.
