The WoW forums are blocked for me at work. But back in the day (that first year), they weren’t.
There were TONS of threads/arguments about “free speech” and banni-nations.

I still have an estimated delivery date of Thursday, and the local Future Shop says they have Collector’s Editions in-stock at the store, so screw this, I’m going to buy a store copy and return the mailed one whenever it gets here.
I heard back from my open ticket from last night (the tag and it’s mine thing?). The GM had looked at everything and although he didn’t go into detail as much as y’all (:)) did, he did say that language such as what was used with me was not to be condoned.
Well, now. I have to say that in one of his chat posts Tizle called me a “pussi” (spelling his), and several other times I saw @#*) in the same sentence.
My follow-up question to y’all is: Can a GM take a look at a chat dialogue and see what was said? Because since I couldn’t see what he really said (mature language filter) in the other sentences, being called a “pussi” isn’t really so bad, to my way of thinking. Kinda like calling someone a Wuss.
So after I read the reply, and seeing what y’all so patiently explained to me, I took it off the screen. Maybe that will be the end of it, I don’t know, but I wouldn’t want someone censured or thrown out of a guild just because of my ignorance. Yeah, he did call me names and cuss, but he may have done it out of frustration, and since I frustrate a lot of folks (D especially: She has to repeat things to me, like every 5 minutes), I need to cut him some slack.
I have been known to jump the gun now and then (right?), so this time I’m going to say to you that I had I known about the grey, then that wouldn’t have been an issue.

Hmmm…got as far as the Realm Selection screen, tried several different realms, but was unable to connect with any of them, even Cairne. Elune, Alexstrazsa, and something else were showing High population, Argent Dawn shows Locked, and Carine shows Medium.
Went back to downloading. Will try again in a few minutes.
And for those talking about an Alliance Doper Guild, let’s do it on Quasi’s server. Maybe set up a weekly or monthly “Lowbie Alt Night” and hold us an Azeroth Dopefest?
Just hopped on my Death Knight, made sure his title was set to “Guardian of Cenarius”, and zoomed to Hyjal. Holy overcrowding, Batman! Think I’ll skip the leveling up for a while and hope the goblin and worgen areas are slightly less crowded.
I just got Existale (note change of spelling, I decided I didn’t like the first) to level 5. Now I need to see about Wolkie. I’m not exactly sure what we’re supposed to do with the Sea Legs quest. Do we dive into the water after we get the spell? Another thing I don’t like about THAT one is it’s dark in there, and we don’t do well in dark places. Which is why I hate IF.;)

Also, regarding my server transfer … I haven’t yet received the confirmation e-mail, but the toon in question is gone from Lightbringer and has appeared on Ysondre. However, his name was changed from “Wain” to “Wain9942GC” or something like that. I assume that means there was already a “Wain” on Ysondre, though I thought it would alert me to that at the time I was buying the transfer. Since I haven’t received the confirmation e-mail, I’m refraining from logging the toon in, just in case that would screw something up. I assume it will offer me the chance to rename him when I do actually log him in?
