Okay, so I’m not a NYC doper, but I do work there, and yes, I’m alive. I’ve been trying to get in touch with Maeglin to no avail. I’ve got two land lines and two cell phones here and I can’t get out on any of them right now. I don’t know how many people have seen it, but it looks like a damned warzone out here. Unholy mother of fuck. Rasa, thanks for posting the word. Nymysys, don’t worry, I should be just fine. So, if I can’t get out of here tonight, I think I’m going to find myself a nice little alley and a cardboard box to sleep in.

Good news. My sister-in-law works on the 34th floor of the WTC. She is just fine. I don’t know whether she was her office or not when the planes hit, but her commute takes her from NJ directly into the WTC. She is in Manhattan now, so she was probably in the building, or at least in the station below. Anyway, gives me hope for all the others.
