Okay, I’m really trying to not panic here, but I’d like Maeglin to show up now. Please.
Glad to hear about Vix and Vincent - hope Maeglin will check in (and double hope that he was in Houston per Bill).
I also checked the website of a very large (1000-attorney+) law firm formerly headquartered in WTC 2 (Sidley Austin Brown & Wood). Two friends work there, and the website claims that all personnel were evacuated safely. I haven’t heard confirmation from either friend - but I’m hoping that it’s correct, and that not many were caught inside when the towers collapsed.

I was driving to school (UMBC) when I heard…I almost rear-ended the car in front of me. I am in schock.

Nym, just talked to Maeglin. He’s all right. 
I just got an email from eggo, he was right down the street sitting on the roof of his bus (he does that alot) for the first impact. he was then told to move. he said he could feel the heat from the crash. thanks for your concern folks.
as I’m sure some of you know, eggo is an author, he said he will be writing an account of the event.

Got home around 1 PM or so after having to walk back to my apt. on the Upper East Side from downtown. When I passed 57th Street, my cell phone started working again, so I was able to verify all relatives of mine in the city are okay and accounted for.
KHespos’ new fiance works 8 blocks from the WTC. He got caught in one of the debris clouds, but he’s home safe.
My prayers are with everyone. I hope all of your loved ones are safe.
