Trailer for 'Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
I love the Zelda series, and this one looks pretty fun.
It’s due out ‘Holiday 2005’ for the Gamecube. I am so there!

I saw this trailer earlier, and awesome is the word that comes to mind. Link turning into a werewolf? And fights on horseback? I’m in.
I’m currently playing Orcarina of Time over again and have been wishing for some new ones. I can’t wait!
Wow! I cannot wait for this game.
Link is a werewolf?! Cool! Do we think the orange-eyed dude riding him is a good guy or a bad guy?
It’s apparently longer than Ocarina of Time, with more dungeons and a light/dark world. Also, one of the boss battles at the E3 demo uses a new boomerang maneuver that seems really cool.
The order in which you lock on targets with the boomerang matters, since the boomerang can pick up items. In one battle, you have to pick up bomb flowers and throw them at a boss, but the boss is too far away. So you have to target the bomb, then the boss, so the boomerang flies at the bomb, picks it up, then flies towards the boss and detonates the bomb.
While the trailer loads on my slow-a** dialup connection…
(hijack)clears throat
o/ Link, he come to town!
Come to save
the Princess Zelda!
Gannon put her away
and so the children don’t play,
oh but they will
when Link he saves the day!
(Hallelujah!)
Now, Link,
fill up your hearts
so you can shoot
your sword with power!
And when you’re feeling all down
the Fairy will come around
so you’ll be brave
and not a sissy coward!
(Musical Interlude)
Now Link
has saved the day!
(Hooray!)
Put Ganon
in his grave!
Now that our Zelda is free,
now our new Hero shall be:
Link, I say your
name shall go down into
history!
(/hijack)
Twilight Princess is also the name of a manga based on the movie Ladyhawke, which of course is about a man who is a wolf by night and human by day and a woman who is a hawk by day and human by night. You might also notice that there is a scene in the trailer where a hawk comes and lands on Link’s arm. Could make for some interesting gameplay if this is more than coincidental. Especially if Zelda is the hawk. Maybe instead of Link heading off to save Zelda, they head off together to break the curse.
Holiday 2005… Is that Christmas 2005 or Summer 2005? Im guessing Christmas but you can never be too sure. Anyway whenever it is, I cant wait for it. Ive been playin Zelda since its days on the NES, and the last one was pretty good, except the stupid boat, heres hoping the horse is better.

HOLY CRAP!

The GameCube just got a helluva more tempting.
Of course, the real gameplay remains to be seen, and from the preview it looks like I wouldn’t be able to play it due to my issues with motion sickness, but DAMN.
*Sticks LoZ to the end of the increasingly long wish list and sighs
It’s Christmas - and as for the Horse, did you play Ocarine of Time? Link had Epona in that version, and it was great - not at all like the boat.
The creature riding Wolf-Link is the Twilight Princess, princess of the Twilight Realm Link visits. When Link enters the Twilight Realm he tranforms into a wolf and partners up with the princess. You control them both together at once.
