In years past, I’ve always enjoyed Newsweek’s election-wrapup issues, when the reporters they’ve had embedded in the major candidates’ campaign organizations - given near-complete access, with the understanding that they can’t report until after Election Day - spill the beans on what was really going on behind the scenes over the course of the campaign. I know the magazine has had a lot of problems in recent years. Do they have embedded reporters this time around?
This seems to indicate “no”: http://www.capitalnewyork.com/article/media/2012/01/4857471/annotated-field-guide-campaign-2012-press-corps?page=all
