There’s a difference between helping someone out to be helpful and hurting yourself in order to help someone out. That’s not karma, that’s just stupid.

That’s okay, ivylass. I feel the same way. It’s just that I was sort of stuck, because I know that technically, my boss is doing me a favor letting me keep as many routes as I have. (Most carriers don’t carry over 200 papers; I’m at over 360, and he gets some flack [flak?] for it.)
So, even though he asked, I didn’t feel like I had much choice. He could so easily just decide that I’m carrying way too many papers and cut me back to 200, and that would be a heck of a lot of money to lose.
Ah, well. It’s just one month. I don’t expect it to come up again, but if it does, I’ll do just what you said. And then I suppose I’ll start job-hunting… 
Pepper, hang in there. It’s just a couple of weeks, and I know that seems huge and overwhelming, but take one day at a time. It’ll get better.

Well, how strange. I started a thread for Frugal/Broke Dopers (MPSIMS), but for some reason I can’t link to it. (The address doesn’t come up in my little address window thingy.)
