I have a friend living in Manhattan so logistics shouldn’t be an issue.
Thank you Redskins. It’s a good day to be a Giants fan.
Yes thanks Redskins. Wow. Too late I think. What a game.
Stubhub usually will fedex same week tickets for a reasonable (~<$30) price - I have done it twice same week - no problems
**Giants ** 6-2. WooHoo!
What a great ending to the Dallas-**Skins ** game.
Bears loose to Miami, about as good a week as a **Giants ** fan could hope for.
Omniscient: I asked my friends I watched the game with today and they all said StubHub is the place to use for tickets.

Giants play a close one with Houston in New York. What’s up with that?
Also, Dallas kills itself with penalties, falling to Washington, who played a good game.
For now, it looks like NYG is starting to get some separation at the top of the division, putting Dallas, Philly, and Washington in contention for a wildcard spot instead of a division championship. Lucky for them, the Vikings lost to the 49ers, Atlanta lost to Detroit, and the Rams lost to KC.
If the playoffs started today:
DIVISION CHAMPS
- Chi 7-1
- NYG 6-2 (Don’t feel like figuring out strength of schedule tie-breaker w NO)
- NO 6-2 (Don’t feel like figuring out strength of schedule tie-breaker w NYG)
- Sea* 4-3
WILDCARDS
- Atl 5-3
- Min 4-4 (NFC 4-2)
LOSERS
- StL 4-4 (NFC 3-2)
- PHI 4-4 (Beat DAL; NFC 3-3)
- DAL 4-4 (Beat Car; NFC 2-3)
- Car 4-4 (NFC 2-3)
- SF 3-5 (NFC 2-3)
- GB 3-5 (NFC 2-4)
- WAS 3-5 (NFC 1-3)
- Det
- TB
- Arz

Been looking at StubHub for a couple days now and the prices for anything non-auction are through the roof. Well over $300 per ticket. That’s about the same as what you see for game here on StubHub and 90% of the time you can easily find tickets for a fraction of that day-of-game outside the stadium.
Basically I’m trying to mitigate risk, do I pony up the premium prices for using StubHub and it’s guarantees or do I trust the law of averages and buy off the street day of game. Craigslist is another avenue I’m looking at and have a few emails out there. We’ll see how it works out.
I appreciate the suggestions and welcome any additional insight.
Giants tickets are the biggest seller in the NY area. Game day tickets for more than 1 seat might be a risk. If you only need one ticket, your chances are much better.
This game is going at a premium, well you know why it is going at a premium. #1 visited the #2 team. Good Luck, if you need a pair, do not expect to even find a pair in the parking lot.
Bearflag70: Thank you for the breakdown and the matchups. Very cool.

I disagree. The Bears loss to the 'phins might give them even more motivation than I want them to have. Here’s hoping Strahan and Umeniyora return; our pass rush was non-existent. Plus, with Toomer lame and Burress out, Carter and
Jennings didn’t exactly scare anyone as a deep threat. We need them both healthy to create some one-on-one matchups in the defensive secondary. On the positive side, Grossman is going to have to beat us in the air, regardless of our defensive line. That’s a big positive.
At least it gives us a chance to decide our fate. But, you are correct, we need at least Strahan or Osi to have a prayer next week. Burress should be back from what I understand.
Jim
Chicago does worse when Grossman is pressured, something Strahan and Umeniyora specialize in. The defense is usually pretty tough; I expect a big dose of Barber. With Barber as their RB, the Giants can keep running the ball even if down by a score or two.
Don’t forget the Bears might be without Urlacher and Berrian this week. Both are huge losses, the drop off behind both guys is huge.
The Bears seem to get complacent at times and I don’t think that’s a concern going into this game.
The report for next week’s Sunday nighter:
Urlacher is (probably) in, Strahan is definitely out, and my foot hurts too.
…from kicking a table after reading the above news.
Just think, if we could beat Da’ Bears without Osi & Strahan, it would be that much greater of a victory.
True dat. I was just really looking forward to seeing Grossman choke on some of that starting line Big Blue pass rush.
Heh…The Littlest Briston is getting pumped for it, though.
Are the Giants playing their Christmas Eve home game in the Superdome this season?
No.
That seems like a cheap and unworthy shot. Where were they suppose to play the first game last year? There was no location in the Gulf area ready at the time.
Not to be argumentative, but was there a more neutral site available somewhat nearby the Gulf (Dallas, San Antonio, KC, StL, Ten, Atl, Jax, Mia, TB, Arz, a college field perhaps)?
Probably, talk to the NFL about the Decision. I thought they looked into San Antonio and it was not available yet.
It is not as if the Giants made the change of venue happen. There is no reason to resent the Giants for doing everything possible to welcome the Saints or the reception the Giant Fans gave them. The Saints got the gate to the game. They got the Concession share. What more were the Giants suppose to do? Yes, it benefited the Giants last year, but why should it affect any other season. Did the Giant organization do anything but their utmost to help that weekend?
Jim
That’s a big if. The best way to stop the Bears offensively is to pressure Grossman. Plan B (eat tons and tons of clock) is tough, even with the Giants’ skill, because of Chigago’s D.
