NFL 2021: Week Eight in the Box

What a douchecanoe.

That’d be my guess, too – Bortles was with the Packers from May-July, essentially until Rodgers agreed to return to the team at the start of training camp.

And, it could get worse for the Packers in the immediate future. As per the Green Bay Press-Gazette:

One may recall when the Broncos lost all of their quarterbacks to the COVID protocol for a game last year, and wound up having to start a wide receiver as quarterback.

And I agree with her.

That’s not how the rule works. He’d be eligible the evening before the game, so in theory he should be able to make the game.

However… He will not be able to participate in practice or even enter the practice facility. And if he is symptomatic within those 10 days, or has some health setback due to Covid-related issues, it could extend that wait. It will only take 1 day of a delay to force him to miss the game. So Green Bay has to hope everything goes perfectly.

Who knows, maybe Jordan Love will be a phenom in the next game.

Or maybe he will have gotten COVID from the ignorant asshole sitting next to him in the film room.

Worse than that, the NFL figured out the Broncos’ QBs tried to game the COVID protocols and refused to postpone the game.

Well, if there’s a defense that can make him look great this year, it might be the Chiefs.

Well Ruggs not only killed the woman, he also killed her dog.

I don’t think we’ll get a repeat of that this year. Part of the problem there was there was a mandatory quarantine period for free agents. There’s no waiting for vaccinated players.

Probably not an exact repeat, but if Love comes down with it (and he’s been sitting in the QB room with Rodgers and Benkert), they are going to be down to either an emergency QB like Cobb, or Bortles, who hasn’t been with the team since July.

I know this would never happen, but it would tickle me pink if Love comes in and lights it up so spectacularly that GB tells Rodgers they’re sticking with Love until he gets vaccinated.

Not quite. His reference to having been “immunized” was referring to a homeopathic treatment he received to boost his immune system last summer.

So, equally scientifically valid to copper undergarments.

The copper thing was a joke. Especially since it’s also something a lot of athletes fall for.

I have no idea what a homeopathic immunization for Covid would be, unless it involves taking a dose of a real vaccine and diluting it repeatedly until there is no vaccine left.

Don’t tell me the Packers are going to strike gold for the 3rd time in a row by getting Favre, Rodgers and now Love…

Or collodial silver

Evidently not gold.
