Catching up on the highlights.
Bills got the tying 2 pointer by a few microns.
Vikes had at least 2 linemen downfield (~3-4 yards) on the tying TD. Unlike college FB on screens they still have to go no more than 1 yard downfield.

After Allen’s 2 point conversion, they cut to commercial and then announced that the call had been reversed when they came back. It was rather strange.
Dude is launching bombs. I can’t tell if he even knows how to throw a checkdown. 8 of 14 for 185 yards, 1 TD. That’s over 13 yards per attempt. And it’s mostly air yards. These aren’t dump-off YAC plays, these are deep vertical passes.
I fear Mike White’s window is closing rapidly, but I’ll take this Zach Wilson.
A lot of really close games today with exciting finishes. 3 overtimes?
Yay Lions.
Well, two today. Cowboys/Jaguars and Chiefs/Texans.
Vikings and Colts played an OT game yesterday.
Indeed. Every game ended up a one-score game. Largest margin of victory was eight, Steelers over the Panthers 24-16.
No fucking way was that Raiders catch inbounds, you can see the white lines on either side of his toe.
Totally agree. How in the hell can they call that a touchdown?
What the fuck just happened
It’s not often I see Browns endings happen to other teams
Most boneheadest play ever.
I hope that play gets a great nickname.
This must seriously be one of the craziest weeks in NFL history
Seriously. That may be the stupidest way to lose a game I’ve ever seen, and I’m a Chargers fan.
I wonder if Bellichick is force-choking Meyers now like Vader or lightning fingers like the Emporer.
I don’t think that the Patriots are getting a lot of sympathy from the rest of the NFL fans right now.
That might cost them a playoff spot.
Right now the Bucs are leading the NFC South with a 6-8 record, while the other three teams are all 5-9. The possibility exists that all four teams could finish 6-11.
Bucs lose to Cards, Panthers, and Saints, finish 6-11.
Panthers lose to Lions, beat the Bucs, lose to the Saints, finish 6-11.
Saints lose to Browns and Eagles, beat the Panthers, finish 6-11.
Falcons lose to Ravens and Cards, beat the Bucs, finish 6-11.
Should this unlikely scenario happen, Panthers would win the division by virtue of a 4-2 divisional record. They would then host the top wild-card team, which will have at least 10 wins.
Move over, Bill Buckner, in the annals of Boneheaded Boston sports lore.
I assume the third team to beat the Patriots would be the Falcons, not the Saints (my bolding), and yeah, I’d kind of like to see that.
Finally after the worms have consumed Al’s desiccated body; he gets revenge for “the tuck rule” game from beyond the grave!
