Right in front of the ref., seriously.
I would think it has to. He appears to intentional throw it to someone who is there and his aim is altered by defense. The name of the penalty is Intentional grounding.
And that was good playing - SF TD
And there it is, touchdown, sf.
Dang. A great play by SF.
Stupid penalty and then the first entertaining play of the game.
I hope Dunkin paid them a lot of money for that.
I stand corrected. The rule includes the following:
Point 2 above would have seemed to have qualified.
Here’s the full rule:
I found it amusing.
That touchdown was beautiful.
I havent seen the replay, but it was pretty clear to me Mahomes wasn’t targeting a player, he was clearly trying to just get rid of it. His throwing motion was a 2 handed shuffle.
But bitching about officiating is as big a part of the NFL as actual football.
Good grief, kick yourself while you are down why don’t you.
Saved by the first down,
Kennedy for pres. commercial. He’s shooting for nostalgia and name recognition. Policy, nevermind any of that.
I wonder if it was actually based on an ad for his father’s campaign in '68, or if it was new, but made to look old.
I also endorse the corpse of JFK. Or RFK. We’re practically there already.
Might want to rethink nostalgia for people named Kennedy.
Either throw the GD ball or call up another QB. It’s like watching someone park on a railroad crossing to check the air in the tires.
kc with some points finally.
So much for a high scoring game.
And now check your block pools.
