No, that’s almost always because the pass was batted by a defender.
You are correct. I just looked up the rule. The ball has to be INTENTIONALLY touched by the lineman.

True, most of the time you’re right. I know I’ve seen it after a bounce off a lineman but it’s usually a defender knocking it back.
Game over, 26-7.
Hot chocolate for Reid-stat!
Good game. Weather was awful, but each team made the best of a bad situation.
I have lately really enjoyed watching the post-game high fives, hugs, etc. I’ve become more and more aware of how players in the NFL are fans of each other, and really do root for each others’ success. I follow a lot of KC fan twitter pages, and I’m just tired of the anti-Tyreek Hill shit. KC players clearly still love him, and harbor no ill will towards him. Bitter rival Raiders DE Maxx Crosby seems perfectly cast to be an absolute villain - but between plays (even huge hits against Mahomes), he and Mahomes are patting each other on the back, telling each other “good play”, etc. I also listen to a couple episodes of the Kelce Bros. podcasts where they just seem like cheerleaders for the whole league.
I guess my point is: if the players don’t have an issue with guys like Mahomes fussing to the refs about calls, why should fans?
It was so cold that beers were freezing to undrinkable states within minutes. Seems obvious in hindsight. Have to chug it the moment you get it, or that’s $10 - $20 right in the trash.
What else can we do? Cheer, complain, debate, repeat.
I wonder why American stadiums won’t do what the Brits do and offer hot soup for sale.
Meanwhile, blizzard and whiteout conditions in Buffalo. NFL says the postponed game will be played tomorrow regardless.
I just noticed that the saying on the back of Jordan Love’s helmet says “Choose Love”. Clever.
I don’t really blame Flacco much. The defense didn’t show up at all and he had all the pressure of needing to outscore an offense that was scoring a TD every other play. It’s bizarre how jekyll and hide the Cleveland defense was in home/away games this year. You’d expect maybe a 10-20% difference in performance but it was night and day. I don’t know what the split stats are but I bet they’re the #1 defense at home by a good margin and maybe 20th away. I have no explanation for that.
The Texans OC clearly outschemed Schwartz, he was freeing up open receivers left and right, exploiting the Browns D tendencies. Myles Garrett completely disappeared in one of the biggest games of his career and Greg Newsome looked like he pulled both hamstrings or something he was so slow. I don’t have much explanation.
Goodness. Jordan Love is shredding the Dallas defense.
Missed extra point? Indoors?
Packers have blown or nearly blown point advantage but it certainly feels better than if the score was reversed.
Brian
Anders Carlson’s sixth missed XP of the year. ![]()
Wow. Impressive.
Good ol’ Cody Parkey vibes there …
I’m rootin’ for y’all, though, because I like seeing the Cowboys lose.
One of the Packers, #7 has tape all over his shoes so the toes are yellow; it keeps making me think there’s a flag on the field, in a way that the all-yellow shoes do not.
Well, Dallas managed to not go into halftime at 0 literally at the last second.
And Dallas receives the second half kickoff. They have a chance to make this a game.
Has the Cowboys’ D been bad all year or is this an anomaly?
