In Week 3, Atlanta destroyed the Pack on Thursday, and the undefeated Bills kept the Chargers winless. The Browns won their second straight, while the Colts got their first win at the expense of Houston, who is 0-3. Titans are also without a win, as are the Rays, who lost their QB Baker Mayfield to a thumb injury. Commanders got their first win while handing Seattle their first loss, and the Ravens won a thriller over the Boys in Rio. Chiefs, Raiders, Vikings, and Niners are all 3-0. Broncos won a nailbiter over the Rams on Sunday night, and the Bears handed the Eagles their first loss on Monday night.
Here are this week’s lines. All spreads taken from DraftKings on Tuesday the 29th at 9:40 am CT.
Thursday night:
Steelers @ Browns (+2.5)
Sunday early thirty:
Colts v Commanders (+3.5) Game played in London, 8:30 am CT kickoff
Neither are the Commanders, but if your team “spots” them 21 points, then it doesn’t really matter.
Seattle lost a game by 2 points when the other team scored 21 directly (or almost directly) off of turnovers.
If they don’t clean something up, and if Darnold and Price can’t stop being “good neighbors” and giving the ball away to be friendly, I can’t feel confident about any game right now.
Browns are 7-0 on Thursday night football in their last 7 games and 7-1 in their last 8 home games against the Steelers. Of course whatever happened in 2020 doesn’t really have an impact on what happens this week, but those are almost certainly better stats than almost anyone would expect.
The American Football League began in 1960. Two of the original teams were the aforementioned Oakland Senors and the Dallas Texans. The Senors, of course, became the Raiders, while the Texans moved to Kansas City after one season and became the Chiefs. Both teams have been in the same division for every year of their existence.
This season, both teams started 3-0. This is the first time in history that this has happened–both teams undefeated after 3 games.
This Sunday, the Chiefs travel to Vegas to play the Raiders. So, barring a tie, one of them will suffer their first loss of the season.
