With their first pick in the draft, the New Orleans Saints select the manufacturer of HGH and that guy who steals opponents playbooks.
He’s huge and has a lot of starts under his belt in the SEC. With some coaching he might be able to refine his technique and he’s been able to hide his terrible footwork with power. I could have probably talked myself into him, but I hate OT that seem to play in concrete shoes.

I really like the Bengals defensive line now. Very good draft for them so far.
If I believed everything I heard during this draft, the NFL would have 70 offensive tackles who can protect the QB’s blindside, 100 stud WR’s who are fast, and 8,634 athletes who could really be something special in the NFL.

The 49ers’ LaMichael James pick is pumping me up. I watched him a lot in college. He runs away from people, can get huge chunks of yardage in a variety of ways (run, receiving, return) and is much tougher than his stature would lead you to believe.

The Rams start the day tomorrow once again. I’m guessing the look at the O Line, probably on the inside, maybe Ryan Miller, or maybe the rewatch the tape on Massie or Sanders and see if they can make that work on the left side.
Hmmm…Akiem Hicks? Who dat? I don’t follow college football from Canada. On paper, the guy is a monster…6’5", 318, allegedly quick off the ball and dominant against somewhat unheralded competition. Then again, the Saints have found some great players that other teams missed. I’m going with “wait and see” on this guy.
With so few picks you’d think they’d play it a little safer.
