NFL Playoffs: Divisional Round

Is this Ray Lewis’ last year? I’m not sure, I wish they’d cover a story about a good Christian man, who went to prison for murder and has kids by 4 different women.

You are mistaken.

I’ve gotten pretty disgusted with the Ray Lewis hero worshiping we’ve seen these last couple of weeks.

Lewis was involved in two murders, he destroyed evidence and lied to the police during the investigation, then he hired a high-priced lawyer and cut a deal where he was let off in exchange for testifying against the other two suspects.

Ray Lewis is no hero.

He’s at least a cut above the rest, especially the way he slices through opposing offenses.

Who would win in a fight between Ray and OJ?

Maybe after this some teams will finally stop with the “Icing the kicker” nonsense.
Yeah, I also want a pony…

It’s just another quirk in the game. Part of what makes football interesting.

Problem is, Bailey would probably not be able to catch up with the kicker!

Regarding coming on the field solely to practice a kick: In lieu of getting a personal foul, Bailey (or any player) should at least have made themselves an obstruction to the kick. I would hope this will be addressed in the off season and that the penalty for illegal practice kicks be set at 15 yards.

Mike Pereira on this event: Final note. Officials are told not to allow a practice kick on the field. If it happens they’re to tell him to get off the field. No penalty.

Apparently that’s what Carroll claims to have been complaining about too, that once time was called the kicker should not have been allowed a practice chip. In that scenario though where the attempt is legal and valid, I say bullshit. If you wait that late to call a timeout, the kicker has every right to go ahead with what was already in motion. To rule otherwise is to invite injury.

To be fair, the whistle for the timeout came early enough to have aborted the snap, let alone the kick. But it’s still a bullshit complaint. If you don’t want to give the kicker a free practice attempt, don’t call the “icing” timeout that probably makes you statistically worse off anyways. I can’t believe coaches still do that.

2-2 in my predictions. Pretty good on Sunday, nailed pretty well I think. Also not bad but ultimately wrong on the Ravens-Broncos game. And 100% wrong on the Packers game. This is why I do not bet on my Packers, not enough head too much heart.

Patriots win big and Tom Brady adds another milestone to his “Greatest QB of all time” collection: most post-season wins ever. The Gronk re-injury totally blows, but I’m too thrilled to get down about it.

Lots of things about this game I could discuss, but I think I’ll just bask right now. GO PATS!

Ideally, just as they’re getting into it, Michael Vick would sic a pack of dogs on them.

As others have said, you are completely wrong about this.
