NFL Playoffs: Divisional Round

Denver’s secondary has look real weak on deep balls this game.

I agree on this one. But if you think the calls are all going Baltimore’s way, you’re not really viewing the game very objectively.

I actually think letting the Boldin catch stand was the right call, but overall the refs have been terrible tonight, *mostly *in Baltimore’s favor. Lots of ticky-tack/phantom calls, but also lots of misses.

The nadir was the Manning fumble that was overturned by the two hands to the face penalties. IMO, they got the flag on Suggs wrong, AND the flag on the CB wrong, AND Manning didn’t actually fumble the ball (knee was down), AND the ball was therefore spotted incorrectly, AND it somehow took them five minutes of debate to screw up the play that badly.

I really hate Baltimore, but I also want the Bears to have a crack at hiring the Broncos OC. I have no idea what I want this outcome to be!

ETA: That Stokely play was clearly a catch, let’s see if the refs botch it.

ETA2: Huzzah!

Watching Harbaugh bitch to the officials constantly, I wonder if his grip on reality is tenuous at best.

HOT DAMN! Go Pack Go.

Which Harbaugh?

The one who has had most of the bad calls go his team’s way. Raven’s Harbaugh.

MANNING FACE! My weekend is complete.

Man that was some shit. Interesting game anyways, I’d be throwing shit if I were a Broncos fan.

Guess Emery will get a chance to interview McCoy now.

Well, I’m not sure how that happened. And now I’ve got nobody to root for for the rest of playoffs.

And no, I’m not going to be throwing shit. I’m disappointed but it’s still just pro football.

Wow. Stunned.

I knew Flacco was elite

I’ll be very interested to hear Fox explain why he didn’t try for a first down before the two minute warning, and he had Manning kneel with two timeouts before the end of regulation.

— Oops, never mind, Ray Lewis just explained everything. God was on Baltimore’s side.

You’d think God would have better things to do than watch football.

God has to do something now that Tebow’s season is over

Wow what a game. I was sorta rooting for Denver, but in the end I don’t guess I care.

Did anyone notice that the Ravens placekicker went out and kicked a practice kick between the OT periods? That’s against NFL rules I believe.

One upset down, one to go. AFC Championship in Houston!

I know the announcers mentioned it (I had probably flipped over to 49ers/Packers for the commercial break), but they didn’t say there was anything wrong, nor did the refs. Why do you believe this is against the rules?
