Hurray!! Got away from that ol’ 9-5 rut to go 10-4 last week. It puts me at 89-39 overall, and back to my rightful place above the “experts” at the Sporting News. Thankfully there’s a few lollipop games this week:
Ravens 17 at Bengals 6 (Sorry Corey, no records this week. And yes, the Ravens will score a TD on offense, they’re still the Bungles after all…)
Bills 24 at Patriots 20 (…and the Patriots are still the Patsies.)
Cowboys 23 at Eagles 17 (I reserve the right to change this pick if the Cowboys decide to go with Concussion-boy over Cunningham.)
Colts 27 at Bears 24 (Those pesky Bears will stick around just long enough to give the Colts a scare.)
Dolphins 21 at Lions 13 (Hopefully the ‘Phins won’t spot the Lions a 17 point lead like they did last week against the Pack.)
Giants 20 at Browns 0 (All Dayne, All Day. Brownies are in a tailspin.)
Steelers 10 at Titans 27 (To keep with last week’s trend, this week the Titans’ punter and waterboy will each score touchdowns.)
49ers 17 at Saints 20 (Where’s stuffinb been lately? Turned the corner, right? 8-8, huh?)
Buccaneers 17 at Falcons 13 (Holy Cow! The overpriced decoy had a touchdown last week. Let’s see, Star 2 – Flashlight 6.)
Redskins 30 at Cardinals 10 (Okay all you ‘Skins fans. This week I really want them to win. I’m picking them as my winner in our local stress pool, so if they lose, I lose. Go ‘SKINS!!!)
Chargers 20 at Seahawks 13 (Like I said before in another thread, it’s almost as tough to go 0-16 as it is to go 16-0. This game just screams upset.)
Broncos 24 at Jets 27 (Hey, Greise – 99 bottles of beer on the wall, 99 bottles of beer…)
Chiefs 20 at Raider 23 OT (Let’s make it two weeks in a row the Sea-Bass pulls out the game winning kick.)
Panthers 10 at Rams 35 (Rrriiinnnggg! Hello? Oh, hi George. Sure, I can fill in at tight end for you this week.)
Vikings 35 at Packers 30 (The Packers still don’t have an answer to Moss. I don’t think the teams will split the series this year, of course that’s just my opinion, I could be wrong. Hey, it’s the Monday Night game, I had to say it.)
Well, here’s hoping for another double digit win week. Your thoughts?
