I agree, not Westbrook. The Redskins’ offense isn’t generating a lot of passing yards, and Banks seems to prefer to throw to Gardner and even Lockett. You might get lucky against Dallas, but it isn’t the way to bet. On the whole, I don’t look to the Redskins’ passing/receiving corps for good fantasy numbers this year.
Dumb question: what does ATS and OMNI mean?
Lions:Sure, they’re going to win before the year is out, maybe two, three games actually. They’re not that bad. BUT, do you want to pick them every week thinking this is going to be the week?? Methinks you’ll be wrong more often than not.
It’s a little game us regulars are doing here in Gazoo’s thread this season. ATS means you pick five teams that will cover the spread (ATS = against the spread), and an OMNI pick is your guarranteed “they will win” straight-up pick each week. The catch is you can’t use the same team twice, so I’m saving the Rams as my OMNI pick for just when I might need them.
Thems the rules? I though you couldn’t use the same team twice in the same week. Example, If I chose the Bears to cover the spread then they cannot be my OMNI pick of the week.

ATS - means “against the spread.”
OMNI - are your five teams that win ATS (in honor of Omniscient’s competition where he has to nail five picks in one week against the pread to win the pot.)
The SURE pick is a straight-up pick that you are positive will win this week. In the SURE picking, you’re only supposed to use a team once, so if you used STL in week 9 you can’t use them again the rest of the season. You CAN have an OMNI pick and a SURE pick that are the same in the same week.
I have continued to make my SURE pick (even though I was eliminated when ATL beat GB), just for the heck of it.

Thanks for the fantasy help, everyone. I dismantled my opponent (115-43, going into tonight’s game which neither of us have a major stake in).
And, assuming GB wins tonight, I’m going to win a week for the first time in the SDMB Pick’em league, over at Yahoo. I’m back on top, too.
It happened - but unfortunately the Cowboys reassembled themselves so quickly that nobody saw it.

I was kind of hoping you would win the season without ever winning a week. Sort of a tortoise and hare kind of thing. How many points do you have on GB tonight? I put 7, will have 92 this week if the Pack come through. Got hurt by choosing the Redskins, which anyway left a bad taste in my mouth, and 14 on the Raiders. Only missed two others so far straight up, Tenn/Cle and Phi/KC.
11, I think. And, you know, I was kinda hoping I’d win it all that way, too. But, I’m not complaining.
I only got three games wrong straight-up this weekend, too.

For once the 3 games I felt pretty good about went my way, evidenced by the fact that I reused 3 of them for both me and my proxy picks. All three of those are still alive. Of course the other 2 I chose for myself went south, and the other two I picked for my roomate were winners. Ironic. I’ll be pulling for GB tonite, if they win I’ll have gotten 5 right for the first time since I started, we’re spliting his pot (his money, my picks) so a GB victory brings the two of us to even (pays for the entry fee) assuming his picks are the only winner of 30 or so.
