I bought the YouTube NFL Sunday Ticket . Not YouTube TV just the app. Watched week one games last week. Can’t be home tomorrow though. I can’t figure out how to record the Jets Cowboys or any games. I can see how to view them but not how to set it to record?.TIA.
Can you watch last week’s Jets Bills game?
Yeah I watched that game. Trying to figure out how to record games
No, he’s asking if you can watch last week’s game right now. If it’s similar at all to MLB.tv (and it should, as it’s about 3x more expensive), all of the games are available to watch after they’ve aired.
Maybe I worded this poorly?
I want to set a game to record TOMORROW. Sorry if I just yelled .
And the point is that with a subscription like this, it’s likely that all 16 games tomorrow will be recorded and able for you to watch every single week until you cancel the subscription. The question of “can you watch last week’s game right now” would answer whether or not your subscription records them all automatically.
Thanks Munch …makes some sense. I’ll see if I can figure out how to replay games.
Do you know how to use the DVR feature in YouTubeTV? I also have Sunday ticket. It works the same for NFL games, I have mine set to record all NFL games. I checked my library and I do have the ability to watch last week’s games on demand.
FYI, the games do lag by about 90 seconds so if you want to avoid spoilers when watching live, be sure to not check your phone.
How is the DVR different than on demand?
OP doesn’t have YouTubeTV - just the app. I can’t find anything online, I didn’t know that getting stand-alone Sunday Ticket was a thing, and there’s not much internet chatter about it.
At the very least, is there a trial period they could sign up for YTTV and cancel at the end of the week?
Exactly Munch. And I’ve tried to find recordings of games. No luck so far
Are the games available on demand?
I think that’s only with NFL+, formerly “Game Pass.”
I believe Sunday Ticket is for live games only.
Kind of shitty of them to split it up like that, but the NFL has yet to be accused of leaving a penny on the table.
Go here Watch NFL Sunday Ticket on YouTube - YouTube Help and scroll down to “Record NFL games.”
Or is that what you did already and it still doesn’t work?
Aha, that says that you can record even if you don’t have YouTube TV.
You get unlimited digital video recording (DVR) storage with NFL Sunday Ticket on YouTube. But to record games and watch your recordings, you need to go to the YouTube TV app. DVR is available for NFL Sunday Ticket Primetime Channel subscribers through YouTube TV, even without a monthly YouTube TV Base Plan subscription.
That’s certainly good news!
Thanks DCnDC
Yeah it sucks because I’m generally not home on Sunday afternoons and generally watch the replays.
