That was awesome, the way he goes flying from the slightest shove looks like a cartoon.
I was going to post a Favre joke, then I found this link. At this point, it’s not like Houston has a lot of options. Is Vinny Testaverde still alive?
I didn’t initiate a conversation about Tebow. The Broncos did that by winning the game. Hell, you guys were going to talk about Tebow no matter what the outcome was. I was expressing amusement at that.
What is funny about you demonstrating the very behavior for which you’re criticizing others?
It was a preemptive Tebowing?
Oh shit, did we just get Tebowed?
To be fair, everyone was saying that Tebow was lucky to coincidentally get the start against bad teams, but once he started playing NYJ and SD we’d see the Broncos get stomped.
Tebow keeps bumbling himself to a great record.
San Diego and New York Jets: 10-12 combined.
I’m not convinced the Jets and Chargers don’t belong in the “bad teams” category. I think it’s more that he’s lucky that he got the start when his defense started to play well.
I hope Tebow goes 16-0 against a string of bad teams so we can hear about how insiginficant it is.
That non-fumble call on Big Ben was called the exact opposite way in the Bears game last week. WTF?
Yup! That’s the one. It’s awesome that he got a flag for that too, but I won’t say anymore lest Hamlet come in to pounce upon anyone who may question the omnipotent perfection that is the referee.
Big Ben? What are you talking about? Oh wait, I guess there is an NFL game going on right now. I was wondering why NBC was showing the Iowa Hawkeyes play Rutgers. Makes sense now.
Referenced a past thread, and my memory was a little off here. It was 2 weeks ago, and Cutler had a ball jarred loose and him shoved the ball forward with his wrist in an attempt to pass. Still, the refs interpreted control in the exact opposite way than tonight. This is fucked up.
Boy, that Eagles loss must have hit hard to have you taking driveby potshots at me.
It was hilarious to see. The league should fine guys for stuff like that, but I doubt they will. We don’t need the players faking things making the refs job even harder since they apparently can’t manage it as it is.
I think the Roethlisberger play should have been a fumble (and I’m a Steelers fan). I think the NFL really needs to do the most they can to remove judgement calls of any type from the hands of the referees; they’re far too inconsistent in their application of the rules.
Don’t play innocent now, you aren’t fooling anyone.
If it’s not the Eagles loss, why are you trying so hard to pick a fight with me now?
Even more hilariously, its now on NFL.com’s front page under the header “Big Props To This Flop”…http://www.nfl.com/
