The refs are ruining this game. Lots of bad calls and over-officiating. The Lions are discovering the downside to having a reputation as a bunch of thugs.

After the talking-to he already got from Goodell he ought to be suspended for a game or two in addition to the fine he’s guaranteed to get. I wish I could have seen the look on Goodell’s face when that happened, you know he’s watching the only game on right now.

Aside from the penalties, they outplayed GB in the first half.
They’re in huge trouble without Houston and Delmas in the secondary and Suh up front vs. the best passing offense in the league, but they still have a shot to make the playoffs. Especially if those 3 players return soon.

WTF is wrong with Suh? The head banging was probably enough to draw a penalty all by itself, but the attempted groin stomp guaranteed it.
Seriously? The guy has some sort of problem. He’s outright mean, and seems incapable of understanding why he can’t be that way. Fines haven’t worked, Goodell talking to him personally didn’t work, so now the NFL has to move on to suspensions. He’d better get his head right or his career will flame out in short order when he misses 5 games a year for disciplinary reasons.

Agreed. Suh needs to wake up. Look up the videos of his tackles to Delhomme and Dalton. In both instances, he tried to rip off the QBs head.
The most bizarre thing about Suh is how good he is off the field. Soft spoken, intelligent, comes off as a genuine person with the media. He’s either the world’s greatest con man or he’s a real life Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde.
