As a Cowboys fan I can assure you that you’ll feel differently about Suisham in a couple of months.
Another Go Detroit over here.
Not that I would advocate trying to injure another team’s coach, but what would happen if the Bears ran a play towards the Pat’s sideline and someone knocked Belichick out of the game? Who would then call the plays for the offense and defense?
Not that I would advocate trying to injure another team’s coach or anything.
Wes Welker, obviously.
The Chiefs are going to be interesting. Matt Cassel had an appendectomy yesterday. I believe Brody Croyle is slated to start, and the practice-squad QB has been moved up.
Couldn’t have happened at a worse time. This is a “must-win” game for the Chiefs. (Sorry, SenorBeef … I couldn’t resist. )
The guy with the video camera…same as always…
Current weather forecast for Chicago at 3pm on Sunday:
17 degrees, light snow, winds out of the NNW at 34mph, gusting to 49.
Wheeeeee!
Toothpaste!
Oh, wait… wrong thread…
Unless he’s in a coma, coaches don’t get knocked out of a game. They just have to stand there.
In the mid 2000s the Giants were playing the Vikings and (I think on a kickoff) accidentally destroyed Mike Tice’s knee. Just flat-out ran him over, tearing his acl or something. They just taped him up, maybe gave him some crutches, and he called the rest of the game. I don’t know if he actually called plays, but he stayed out there and did his job.
And then there was Don Shula in his sideline golf cart…
Speaking of Vikings-Giants, they may not play that game tomorrow. Because of a massive snowstorm going up here in the Cities right now, the Giants are can’t get in and are stranded in Kansas City. The game may get postponed until monday night (though I personally think it should be a forfeit).
Beaten to the punch, but, yeah, you are SO right!
You play in a dome. You don’t deserve any benefit from bad weather.
Look, just because a crappy team is based in a God-forsaken part of the globe doesn’t mean visiting teams should get an automatic victory when local weather occasionally does the expected. The Vikings should have to play, and not get to claim an easy loss without further chance of injury and humiliation.
The Vikings are the home team. I’m saying the Giants should have to forfeit if they don’t show up. We’re ready to play. If the other team is afraid of a little snow, that’s not our fault.
Yeah, I’m sure that’s how it went down.
PILOT, I SEE WHITE ON THE GROUND, TURN THIS PLANE AROUND!
Hey, if your team could get a cheap win, wouldn’t you take it?
They should move the game to LA, test out the market.
According to the Yahoo app that borschevsky linked to, if we win out and the Ravens and Steelers lose out, we’re in the wildcard. Wahoo!
(everyone hush. this is the sort of crazy talk Cleveland fans engage in every time we win a game of any sort.)
Vikes games moved to Monday night.
Generally, being able to beat the Bills is a necessary(although not sufficient) condition for being a playoff team.
