NFL Week 15

No thread yet? I thought I’d find about 200 posts dissecting SF-SD this morning :D.

The Chargers did look pretty good last night, although a few random things did seem to go against the 49ers.

In other news, it appears that Shanahan is planning to unleash Rex Grossman against the Cowboys. Kitna and Grossman, reminding us of the NFC North days of yore.

I was just reading about that in the Post. WTF?! When are people around here going to learn that the QB ain’t the problem! This team is bad because the entire team is bad. Jason Campbell would have led this POS to the exact same record because it’s not McNabb that’s losing all of these games (granted, he’s not heroically responsible for the wins either). Maybe you could convincingly hang 1 or two of these losses on him, but the whole team is terrible. If you’re going to bench Donovan, you may as well bench everyone else. What a fuckin’ train wreck this team is.

Wonder if I can still score some Ravens tickets.

Sexy Rexy is back, bitches!

High comedy. Meanwhile, the Vikings’ options at QB are a rookie and Patrick Ramsey, who hasn’t played in two years. Or Brett Favre, who can’t feel his right hand unless it’s on his wang.

Yeah, I’ll watch. I have detested the Cowboys since Jerry Jones took over, so I always like to root against them. It is kinda fun to see the older QBs get to play again.

The forecast in Foxboro calls for heavy snow, and Aaron Rodgers is unlikely to play for GB, so the Packers may be in for the same kind of bad day that Chicago had last week.

People think I’m joking, but I’m not – Pats over Pack, 66-3. Book it.

While 3 is a reasonable number for the Packers, their defense has alllowed the fewest points, so I think they will keep the Pats in the 30s.

Good luck with that.

Nice.

Tis the season for whiteouts and blowouts.

[HanSolo]I have a very bad feeling about this.[/HanSolo]

Arizona Cardinals at Carolina Panthers. Just two years ago, this was the NFC divisional round playoff game.

Now, this game is a joke.

Well that was weird. The Browns’ right tackle lined up in a bunch formation as a receiver, and, much weirder, Robert Royal was able to hold on to a pass.

I don’t know wtf is up with the Browns, but the front 7 is just phoning it in.

I think they must be trying to get Mangini fired because they seriously are just half assing it.

The Browns are up in the second half - they’re not on here, so I cannot comment on the level of play.

Baltimore and NO are keeping it interesting 21-14 in the second half. As a Steeler fan I’d be more comfortable if NO takes it.

I propose a new NFL rule: offensive false starts are immediately offset if anyone on the defense points at the player who moved. Who’s with me?

And if your teams’ defense has given up at least 20 points so far and a defensive player celebrates making a simple tackle, it’s a 25 yard “being a douche” penalty and the player is to be teabagged by an unwashed 450 lb gorilla.

I’ve never objected to simple celebrations as much as some seem to. Trying to play junior-ref has always gotten under my skin, though… But I’d make this deal.
