There’s dedication and there’s fanaticism. Not sure how to classify this.
Does he run backwards if they win?
Are we going to see a public execution tonight? Miami did make it interesting vs the Pats so maybe they’ve got some shootout in them, but they seem like a team on the verge of quitting
McDaniel might get fired at halftime.
The McDaniels vibes are terrible, but the root problem is and always has been, Tua. Maybe we’ll get to see Zach Wilson for a half before they blow it up.
Every year, fans go through this. No team is as bad (or as good for that matter), as they seem after the first two weeks. And, while I suspect it will be a blowout, I would not be surpised by a close game.
That poor guy could be in for it October 13. The Bears have the MNF slot against the Commanders in DC, with the game ending around 10:30 pm Chicago time. A 20-mile run past midnight is a real possibility.
I’m not sure how that kick returner made it to the NFL not knowing that kickoff rule - which, AIUI, has always been recoverable by the kicking team in high school and college rules as well.
In both high school and college football, if the kickoff is untouched and goes into the end zone, it’s a touchback. If the ball doesn’t go into the end zone, it’s a live ball and can be recovered by the kicking team.
Oh, ah, my bad. I stand corrected.
In recent years when most kicks went out of the back of the end zone, kickoffs were frequently not fielded.
It was a bonehead play, but understandable. Especially since he misplayed the ball initially he was probably just relieved it didn’t hit him. He mistakenly played it like a punt which we see happen occasionally around the league.
I’ve never seen a veteran NFL QB stare down receivers the way Tua does. He’s not even attempting to look at anyone else. And they keep running that same rollout to the left and curl/comeback route outside that didn’t work the first three times. I thought it was a replay but no, they’re just running it again.
A surprisingly good game at halftime in Buffalo.
Tied!
Tyreek Hill looks like he jist doesn’t give a shit anymore. Just alligator armed an easy catch on a bomb.
Josh Allen has become the fastest player in NFL history to reach 300 touchdowns/touchdown passes.
He made a good move on a crucial 3rd down play in the first half to keep a TD drive alive.
But he’s not the receiver he was a few years ago, to be sure.
Well, there it is. Tua again kept staring down his receiver, and this time the Bills intercept it.
Roughing the punter led to the go-ahead touchdown. Now a telegraphed interception will probably seal the game.
That was definitely the backbreaker. Dolphins were hanging in there up to that point, and were going to get the ball back, tied in the 4th quarter. And the guy who committed the penalty is a veteran, not some newbie. I suspect there was some desperation there trying to make a big play, but boy was it stupid.
