NFL Week 3

Peyton played for the Broncos in Superbowl 50.

Terelle Pryor is currently or was recently the Browns leading passer, rusher, and receiver.

Arizona appears to be overrated.

For fucks sake. Browns kicker gets injured in a fucking walk through on Friday and the replacement has missed 3 kicks today including a game winner.

I expect him to be fired by tomorrow. I thought cleveland had their 1st win

I’m glad the Cardinals game wasn’t shown here in Chicago. There would have been a beer bottle thrown at my TV. The Cardinals have always had problems with early games when traveling east.

The Vikings defense dominated the Panthers today. Ooof.

Thed NFL must love the Raiders…5 east coast road games out of their first 8 games

Yeah, but Cam had a nice dance on his TD run.

And since that’s that matters to Cam, he’ll consider it a successful day. Plus, he got to make a political statement with his warm up T shirt.

Yup. Cam Newton – there’s a guy who doesn’t care about winning.

The good cheer in this thread is incredible.

The problem is that all 32 teams don’t play on Thursday night.

Posted in wrong thread…nevermind…

Why is that a problem? We’re talking about rescheduling, and having them all play once on Thursday would be one of the easier changes.

The views expressed by dale42 are solely his and do not necessarily represent the views of Hamlet, the NFL, or any other people who may or may not have an opinion on Cam Newton.

Having a bye week in the first or last 3-4 weeks of the season doesn’t make any sense.

were the Eagles playing Pitt?

From an Eagles fan, nobody is more surprised than us. Most of us were calling for a loss today; a reality check for Wentz.

Wow.

Thank God my Colts didn’t start off this season 0-3.

a) it makes more sense than having to play four days apart
b) the NFL already has a bye week in week 4 (Packers and Eagles)
c) before the SEC cut the number of bye weeks from 2 to 1 in 2015, it was not unusual to have bye weeks in the second or penultimate weeks of the season, and nobody cared (except Bama, who accused the other teams of deliberately scheduling their byes for the week before their Bama game)
d) you wouldn’t have to change much to avoid bye weeks the first two or last two weeks of the season, which is more reasonable than saying no bye weeks the first or last four weeks. All you’d have to do is make Thanksgiving (which currently has three games scheduled) and one other Thursday a doubleheader day, so there would be a couple weeks where four teams had byes the same Sunday.
