NFL week 4

Yeah, that incredible Steelers defense, which is apparently impregnable, wins yet another game…and they didn’t even play! Whoa they are ELITE!

This is the worst football game Ive ever watched. At least we wont be shutout.

And is collins the worst backup qb in the league? He doesn’t seem to have a clue and is clearly afraid of getting hit. It took Cutler 9 sacks to finally shut down.

Best backup in the league. He went 13 years between interceptions.

Those guys were cracking me up talking about that.

I can’t believe Collins is still even in the league. Jesus, he must be like 70 years old.

He’d retired after last season. The Bears signed him midway through the pre-season, after realizing that Dan Lefevour was awful, and that they only had Hanie behind Cutler.

I’ve never understood why we didn’t spend any time developing Hanie. I mean, is he THAT bad? On his only possession of the night he moved with more oomph than Collins.

It reminded me of Bears vs. Giants in the mid-20s. Keep punting and wait for the other offense to make a big mistake.

I am firmly convinced after last nights game that the Bears could save millions in cap money by not fielding an offensive line and not be any worse off then they are now.

It wasn’t the line. It was Cutler.

Okay, it wasn’t just the line. Lovie Smith said something about how they tried everything from scheme changes to personnel changes and nothing worked. You know what always works? When the quarterback gets the damn ball out.

Yeah, the line was bad, but there were quite a few occasions when Cutler had plenty of time to get a pass away before he was mugged. Also, on a couple of the sacks, he had a big pocket in front of him and never stepped into it, resulting in hi getting sacked from behind.

Rams are gonna win the division.D looks pretty damn good.Bradford and Jackson are gonna be a great combo.

Who had money on the Chefs being the last unbeaten?

In fairness, it’s really only because they had a bye this week. I’ll never make another prediction again if they beat the Colts.

It looks like we can get Mercury Morris’ yearly sausage fest out of the way early.

One wonders if he’d suffered the concussion on one of the early sacks…it might explain some of that poor decision-making.

I think it’s adequately explained by the fact that he’s Jay Cutler.

They swapped out QBs twice, too. That did not help either.

Kyle Orton vs. Jay Cutler? I think it is pretty clear that Orton has outplayed Cutler since the trade.

Peter King agrees with you (scroll down a bit to read):
