Bob Costas just referred to Tom Coughlin as “chronologically, the oldest coach in the NFL.” Why does this mook still have a job? Worse still, why do people think he’s a decent journalist?
The only thing that gives me any kind of “hope” for this season is that the 49ers are still only two games behind in a terrible, terrible division. I doubt they’ll pull it off, so I could see the Rams winning the NFC West at 8-8. That Bradford kid is damn good.
I’m not gloating, although I do respond to taunts. I guess that makes me the sucker, responding to trolling. And since most football fans troll the Steelers anymore, there it is.
When you’re watching the highlights, the flash player does give you the option of HQ video, but when you click on it you will be prompted to download Akamai NetSession. Even after reading the explanation, it’s not quite clear to me why the fuck i need to install something like this to watch some video clips. I don’t want another service running in the background just so i can watch a few minutes of highlights every week.
Nobody is trolling the Steeler fans that are reasonable and not cock suckers. That would exclude you, apparently. Stay safe though, troop. Petty differences over a football team pale in comparison to what you are going through.
The Bears’ offensive line is embarrassingly awful.
When Cutler isn’t getting sacked, he’s throwing the ball away or running sideways out of bounds. There have, however, been a few occasions where he had a bit of time and still couldn’t do anything with it, suggesting that the downfield coverage has also been good, and/or that Cutler just can’t make any plays tonight.
Edit:
Luckily for the Bears, their own Defense is keeping them in the game.
This is an old time Big D game. It reminds me of Bears v. Giants in the mid-80s. There has been one good drive in the game and that was held to only 3 points.
As much as I hate to defend him, that statement does make some sense. He was differentiating between Couglin being the oldest in age as opposed to the longest in tenure or coaching experience.
