NFL Week 4

Ok, I imagine this kind of thing is somewhat typical, and they will fix it soon. I was looking up the Jets on wiki-thing, to see if they had taken to wearing white at home, like the Cowpats and Dreadskins have done in the past, and noticed that it identified the team owner as Russell Wilson. Which seems a tad excessive for such a mild drubbing.

Atrocious might be a bit strong but then again I’m comparing Cody to the last dozen or two Browns starting QBs. He isn’t giving us any cause to not regret not drafting Wentz but when I heard he had five head coaches in four years at USC I did understand the Brown’s interest in him.

Baby steps, uneven and far from complete but the team is making progress. That and my favorite beer was on special and I have more than enough time to sleep off the hangover I’m building and make it to work in the morning. Life ain’t as bad as the team is and the team might be getting better. Eventually.

I’m not really a Dak Prescott believer, but boy oh boy is Ezekiel Elliott for real.

Is this the second week in a row that a Bucs game has been under the weather?

And once again the Chargers give up a second-half lead and blow the game.

Excellent!

I hope that every loss is a nail in the coffin of their chance to get a new stadium in San Diego.

I think the Browns are in a class by themselves talent wise but I still agree with you.

A divisional game is always a different fish. They know the Pats better than the rest of the league, and they have extra motivation to win.

Now if only I could see a couple of plays of Brady piledriven next week.

I know, never happen…

Merry xmas, He Hate Me leaguers. I let you back in…

The Arizona Cardinals are we thought they are. Ugh, Drew Stanton is never the answer and Palmer is showing his age.

Oh look, another deadly dull SNF. And I don’t even have Charles starting (not that I would, he doesn’t go till week 6).

Rams are a quiet 3-1 because ESPN or NFL network doesn’t talk about them

Looks like the steelers was looking pass the eagles to the game against the chiefs tonight since they are up 22-0

I have a question about this, and a number of your other posts in this thread: What are you talking about?

Normally when a AFC team has a NFC team on the schedule before a big primetime matchup with another AFC team, the full effort will not be there when playing the NFC team

I been seeing this for 20 years

Yeah, sure. You know all about how much effort NFL players put in. Some days they just phone it in, amirite?

I must be right if they are winning 36-0 after losing 34-3 to a NFC team last week

LOL. The fact that you believe this to be an accurate statement is quite instructive.

When I saw they lost to the eagles 34-3 I had to see who they played next. That’s when I found out they had a sunday night game vs the chiefs which meant they were more concerned about the next game instead of the eagles since it was out of conference.

No missed or blocked PATs so far this week. If all the PATs in Monday’s game are good, it would be the first perfect week since the 15yd kick was instated last year. Of course, the first 3 weeks this season were pretty suck, below 94%.

Arizona laying a turd pushes me out of my survivor pool. I actually failed to remember my pick so I just got assigned the largest line, bad karma I suppose.

Amazing how the Rams are 3-1 after looking 0-16 worthy in Week 1.

Raiders continue to be the cardiac kids, with game score differentials of +1, -7, +7 and +1. (Double bonus if you’re also a Cal fan.)
