If you can still get the Browns +10 at SF, that’s a good bet I think. SF has a crappy offense and the Browns defense will shut them down. The 49ers defense is going to shut down the Browns offense, but not get as many turnovers as they’re used to, leading to a low scoring 13-6 type game.
Seems like a lot of bad games this week. Pats v. Steelers is the only one that I might want to watch (but can’t). I suppose if you want to see if you’ve got your team playing or you want to see if the Colts and Dolphins are really that bad, you could watch. But the games have been looking pretty sloppy the last couple weeks, and I’m not sure that trend doesn’t continue this week too.
Saints should roll @ St. Louis today. I grabbed Ivory to replace Ingram on my fantasy team…need big numbers from him, Brees, Graham, and Saints D in a tough mathup this week. GEAUX SAINTS!
I find myself concerned that the Colts are going to land Andrew Luck and have the next Manning for the next 15 years.
I mean, if there is a less deserving fanbase of fair weather housewives in the NFL to have 25 years of perpetual success, it’s them. It should figure the one time they have an off year possibly gives them the chance to draft Manning’s replacement. Disgusting.
Saints down 17-0 at the half. Rams defense smothering the Saints offense, getting to Brees early and often. Blocked punt led to one easy TD, and Brees threw an INT with under 2:00 left, Rams cashed in another short field for a TD. Gonna take some 2nd half heroics to pull this one out…
I know, right? And the funny thing is that Flacco hasn’t given any indication that he can get it done. Sure, a few decent passes here and there, but there’s no reason to hold Boldin because Flacco can’t get it there regularly anyway.
Not that I really expected the Colts to win this (or any) game, but I really don’t understand it. You have a young RB (Carter) who is actually looking like he could turn into a half decent back and you’re 0-7. I know, lets have Curtis Painter throw the damn thing 49 times and give it to carter 9 times. Why bother giving your young, halfway decent, RB a little experience?
