NFL Week 6

50-Omaha-Set-Hut!

Oak-min-ster-is-on-ig-nore.

I can’t watch it, but the Panthers-Bengals game looks like a lot of fun to watch.

I need a diagnosis. I’m starting to have acute flashes of confidence in the Lions D. Is that more likely a brain tumor, or Ebola?

It has been a fun game. I’m more impressed with Andy Dalton than some people would have led me to believe.

Browns crushed the Steelers and have the Jags, Raiders, and Bucs over the next 3 weeks. I would say they’re going to be a favorite in those games. Is a 5 game winning streak and 6-2 record a real possibility here?

Beef: The NFL Today seems to believe so.

Aaron Rodgers pulls a Marino fake-spike in Marino’s house. Nice stuff.

What a finish for the Packers! The fake spike, then the winning TD with 3 seconds. I went from totally pissed off to happy in a split second!

It took me a minute before I could start breathing again

Brian

The Bungles kicker misses a make-able FG to end the game in a tie…

That fake spike almost screwed them. If the DB had reacted half a second faster he could have tackled him in bounds and ended the game.

Does Eli Manning like sacks? That is the lesson I take from this.

Well, that’s a great way to cap off the game. 4th & Goal, last chance to get back in it, Cruz is open but he drops it … because apparently his knee exploded a half second before the ball got there.

Fuck. I hate the fuckin’ Eagles, man.

Torn patella tendon. Season ovah.

The Giants’ star player out for the season? Is there anyone left on the team? I smell blackouts for the rest of their home games.

So I recently discovered that if you live outside the US, or your internet traffic looks like it’s coming from outside the US for some legitimate reason like you have an ad-blocking DNS or VPN service from another country or various other reasons, you can get NFL gamepass which allows you to stream all games live, red zone channel, nfl network, and also get the features you’d get for the nfl replay online service.

And it’s actually the best streaming software I’ve used by far. It’s really flexible. You can do picture in picture, double view, quad view (for live and replay too), stream quality is very high, replay features (condensed games), etc.

It’s really really good. It’s $100 in the cheaper countries for the rest of the season.

Is there any doubt the AFC North is the best division in football? Cinci blew a 35 yard FG to win, but they didn’t actually lose - I think there were only 2 losses outside the division for the AFCN.

I wish I could’ve been at the game today. Wins come few and far between for Browns fans, particularly meaningful wins, but when the team wins a meaningful game, the whole city goes nuts. It’s gotta be one of the best vibes in sports fandom.

Brian Hoyer threw for 27 yards per completion today, and it makes me realize that the Browns are apparently a big-play, deep passing offense with a quarterback who throws a bad deep ball, and with receivers who are bad at playing the deep ball, and who have no height or strength to fight for the deep balls, and yet somehow it’s working.

I think Kyle Shanahan might be some sort of wizard. The play action fakes are amazing. Everyone is good at selling them and the defense always bites.

It’s going to be interesting when Josh Gordon gets back.

I was at the Bengals game today. It was a lot of traffic to endure for a not loss/not win. Stupid Bengals defense.

On the bright side, Giovanni Bernard averaged like 18 YPC, so Hamlet can finally recognize…
