NFL Week 7

I seriously think NO is going to gun for the NFL record score and/or victory margin. 28 points and they are not even 5 minutes into the 2nd quarter.

If anyone can do it, it’s Payton. I’d like to see teams run up the score occasionally just to see what they can do. This isn’t peewee football where you have to worry about hurting people’s feelings.
In other news, more evidence that Suh is a pretty huge dick.

Colts making a pretty good case for a mercy rule in the NFL tonight. Unfortunately, my fantasy team needs the Saints to keep the foot on the gas…dunno if that will happen. A lot of Ingram on the ground would help, maybe let Garcon score a couple times for the Colts…

Another td. I think NO has scored on every possession tonight so far.

Has any team ever made it through a whole game scoring on every possession?

Dallas’s leading rusher for the season on 10/22/2011: F. Jones, 255 yards.

D. Murry on 10/23/2011 alone: 253 yards.

I wonder if we may see one of those ‘lost his job while injured’ changes.

Another posession and another Brees TD. Crazy.

This is looking like a video game. Saints clicking on all cylinders, and the Colts are just outgunned tonight.

Without Peyton Manning the Colts are outgunned EVERY night. I can’t remember a more vivid demonstration of how much a single player means to a team.

So far here’s the results of every drive.

Colts:

If this was Madden, the Colts would’ve rage quit by now.

It’s like watching Alabama face Southwest Baptist University.

They might want to find a new place to hold the Super Bowl this year, because by midnight the Colts fans will be burning that motherfucker down. When was the last time the Colts were beaten like this?

Now they’re scoring on the Colts’ possessions!

Tonight.

Saints just need to score 11 more points to tie the all time record.

So the final was New Orleans 62, Cumberland College 7.

Can we give Peyton Manning a couple of extra MVP trophies retroactively?

No. Manning doesn’t play defense.

The Colts QBs went 12-22 for 97 yards with an interception and a fumble lost. I admit I spent most of my time watching the World Series, but I think that performance also had something to do with how this game turned out.

No. The Colts did it once, if you don’t count possessions that ended because the half/game ended.

He does not play on the defense, but he does help them substantially (keeping drives going to allow the defense to rest and regroup).
