NFL Week 8

Hopefully Hines Ward…

He has absolutely been a bust this season. However, he has always produced when healthy, and there’s no reason to believe he won’t be his usual badass self when he recovers from his HAS.

He has averaged 87 receiving yards and 0.53 touchdowns per game over his career, including this season, despite playing in the generally awful Cardinals offense.

You’ve got to be kidding. You think that only luck is involved if a player routinely ends up with injuries that are debilitating? :stuck_out_tongue:

If a player ends up with different injuries each time, yes- and certainly in this case.

Virtually every wideout in the league has missed games with hamstring injuries. Last season’s facial injury was caused by a crushing sandwich hit and could have happened to anyone. That leaves us with one “unusual” injury. Hardly a pattern.

David Boston.

Boston and Boldin are nothing alike. Boston had one big year; Boldin’s been a top-20 wideout every year since he was a rookie. Boston tore the same knee ligaments over and over; Boldin injures a new body part every time.
