I guess they’ll have to settle for Eddie Lacy.
Well, Joe DeCamilis is no Dave Toub.
Like 5 different things happened with that pass in 3 seconds.
Neither O line is shitty. The Bears is legitimately good in pass pro.
The issue is that the Packers have a very good run defense and the Bears, due to injury, is probably the worst in the league.
Also, at one time I defended the Bears Safeties…I take that back, they are staggeringly bad.
I think you are on crack. What Incognito said in voicemails, texts and even on Twitter, for God’s sake, and given Incognito’s already stellar reputation for being an upstanding citizen points to him being a “bridge too far”.
Christ almighty, are you serious with this?
To be fair, I did hear a lucid caller (African American) into a local radio show today that expressed that he would never want Martin on his team because instead of standing up for himself, he bailed. I can see the logic in that, but Incognito is still an inexcusable douchebag. Not sure why you are trying to raise the doubt flag on this one when the evidence against him both recent and prior is so damning.
This whole Seneca Wallace thing is very troubling. Granted the Bears got away with clear hold on Nelson, but Anderson should have had a pick on that throw and Wallace is way off the mark. Ugh.
I suppose so. But you’ll still be pining after Gio at year’s end!
Crazy man…YES they are. When you openly admit that they cannot run block, that’s at least 40% of your offense being shitty right there. Hey, I understand. Hello, my name is Steve. I am a Bengals fan. I cannot understand why my Cincinnati oline can pass pro like a champ but not block for RB’s either. I think it’s because they suck, or if they don’t suck all the time, they just suck on the road, which seems to be a really common theme this season more than any other in recent memory. It’s like almost every team has become the Seattle Seahawks.
I’m going to the Big 12 game Thursday with several guys that used to play, Ray Berry, etc. I’ll darn sure get their take on it. Maybe you’re right but I’ve never heard mention of anything that over the top and all they do is relive old stories, games, etc.
Man, you are rapidly approaching Steeler logic there…
Ease off, man! The ledge is wider than you think!
Look, I’m not saying Incognito isn’t a royal piece of shit, and the Dolphins are right to shit can him. But, lets not act like NFL players are good at censoring themselves and that an NFL locker room is anything but a FCC censor’s nightmare.
These words aren’t that far away from things that were said in jest in SDMB fantasy football drafts in the past. I know my friends had a particular way of messing with each other that would probably have garnered similar outrage if taken out of context and posted for the world to see.
Of course, everyone in those 2 examples knew that it was in jest and the outrageousness was the whole point. Clearly Martin wasn’t enjoying this and Incognito might not have been joking, but spare me the hand-wringing.
Another bad pass by Wallace.
BRING BACK MATT FLYNN!!!
(What is sad is that I’m actually serious about that).
The Bears have the #2 offense in football and the 15th running attack (6th in Yds/attempt). I never admitted anything of the kind. Get your facts right.
Oh, knock it, dude. He had to come in to the game cold. Give him a week of first team reps in practice before you make such judgments.
I’m not hand-wringing at all. Incognito has and never will have played or will play for my favorite team. But this dude had been flagged since college by guys like Dungy (DNDCI…Do Not Draft Character Issues). There’s a certain something to rookie hazing that I think is not only funny, but part of the job, expected, and certain. Incognito crossed a line that shouldn’t be crossed. The fact that you are even defending him, or that I need to defend my negative opinion of him based on his behavior both before and after he entered the league should indeed tell you something.
This was not typical rookie hazing. This went to another level and Incognito should have known better, because after all, he was once a rookie himself. His behavior is INEXCUSABLE, and that is why a desperate team like Miami simply cut his offensive ass loose. Not sure what you’re trying to say here.
Yes, but take Cutler out of that equation. Then you have a losing record which is likely to continue. Are all Bears fans dense to current reality?
Of course. But the Packers may need a third QB, and the Bills did cut Flynn this week. …
Local Houston news just reported Kubiak had a mini stroke.
Where are you hearing me defend Incognito? I feel like there’s some special filter on my posts you’re using.
Incognito is a piece of shit. Always has been.
If this voicemail and text messages had been exposed as being from, say, Cameron Wake they’d be bad and would cause a ruckus, but people would be asking if this is typical of NFL hazing and there’d at least be some people saying boys-will-be-boys.
Um…6th in rush yards per attempt. What does Cutler have to do with that? Are you aware of what McCown’s stats are since he came in the game 2 weeks ago? Look it up.
It is patently obvious that the Bears have no respect for the passing game.
