How does a 6 inch penalty show up on the stat line?
Good. At least it isn’t a whitewash at this point.
Needed that touchdown. Still, they need to communicate better on coverages on defense or Warner will continue to pick them apart.
I’d answer that if I knew what 6 inches was…
Oh, maybe I shouldn’t have said that.
It’s two inches, and two inches, and two more inches.
It depends. I think that it goes this way. It counts as a yard if it crosses the yard marker. If the six inches straddles the yard marker, it counts as one yard. If it’s between two markers, it counts as zero yards.
You know, you DO have to tackle the guy, you can’t just bounce into him, or try to strip the ball without grabbing him.
ETA: That Sprint ad with the Steelers fan was somewhat better timed when it came out LAST year.
Not to be smug, but this a good time to be an Arizona Cardinals fan!
We need to score a touchdown. A field goal at minimum. Probably a touchdown (before the half, that is).
Great first half. I don’t watch many Cardinals’ games, but they seem to be very well coached, with a gameplan that is just wrecking the Packers D. They’re taking full advantage of the aggressive nature of the Packers D, whether from running the reverse or even just running at, Clay Matthews. Their coaching has impressed me.
Diogenes will say that was pass interference against the Packers, not the Cardinals. I can hear him saying it now.
Boys playing men.
sigh
I always love seeing the Packers get punked, but I was really hoping to have just one interesting game to watch this weekend.
I’ve always been annoyed by Kurt Warner, but the guy brings it. And the Cardinals defense is better than I thought they were. They’ll be hard to beat, assuming the Vikings get past Dallas, which is nothing like a safe assumption. I just hope the old-form playoff Romo returns next week.
I guess the fancy schmancy offensive stats must come from two games each against the Bears and the Lions this year.
ETA: Who’s the more dissapointing: Rogers or Palmer?
I’ll take Brady for the win.
Touché.
Memo to Packers: Trading touchdowns won’t work when you start two behind.
Hot DAMN!!
OOoooooo, Mason Cosby does something right. Nice call by McCarthy too.
