NFL Wild Card Weekend

Duh

That’s why I asked

I’ll go out on a limb and predict they’ll be unable to stay there.

Well, the “ANY other” team is either Seattle or Green Bay. Do you have an opinion?

Actually, I can just stream it on my computer by entering my directv logon and passoword. Strange.

How late could the Cards have signed or traded for a veteran “game manager” quarterback? Was it legally too late when their backup got hurt?

Even a Kyle Orton type would have gotten them a first week bye, in my opinion.

ESPN reports that, thanks to the last play, they ended with 78 - a new playoff record for fewest offensive yards. There should be an asterisk on that one, but that’s about as likely as putting one on Michael Strahan’s record for most sacks in a season.

Well, there ARE 4 other teams still in a possible mix. Don’t be a jerk.

I don’t have to have an opinion to ASK a question.

I haven’t paid much attention to the NFC South this year, what with the lack of performance by virtually the whole division. So, I’m asking.

Moving on…

Carolina had talent on both sides of the ball. There is the possibility that they can put up a fight.

for the entire NFC playoff picture, not just next week

I wondet why worilds was not ejected? I thought throwing a punch was basically an automatic ejection.

Still really curious about that lackluster season by the entire NFC South division. I don’t think I saw a single game played by that division. I’m sure one or two were televised in my area, but i was watching other games apparently.

I’m reminded of the 1986(?) last seed Houston Rockets (NBA), who didn’t climb above .500 until well into the payoffs and then lost to Boston in the finals. Yeah, NBA not NFL, I know, but the “Any Given Sunday” rule also applies here.

The Pitt/Balt game is a classic struggle. Afterwards, I’m sure someone will say it was “won in the trenches,” whoever wins.

.

A couple of ugly, tough, but very interesting games.

Can’t wait for tomorrow!

Bengals are laying Luck out like mad, just after he gets the pass away.

I think Arians spent a bit too much time reading his own publicity and the next man up strategy. I would have thought they could have worked out a Josh Freeman type once Palmer was out for the season. Lindley is horrible, and I’m really surprised they didn’t yank him and try Logan Thomas.

Just to demonstrate that there is porn for everything, you can now get Rob Gronkowski erotica:

Anyone else having sound issues on the Det/Dal game? The balance of crowd noise to commentators is severely skewed towards crowd noise on the station broadcasting my local OTA TV. It’s not my settings, as I had perfect sound balance for the AFC game, and the commercials are normal. It’s like I’m in the crowd, which some people might prefer, but I want to hear these commentators (for some reason).

How about that Dallas punt to the one foot line and the penalty making it inches from the goal line? Detroit moved the ball 99.89 yards to score that TD. (number not exact, I’m sure)

When I saw the ball that deep, I thought about that 99.5 yd TD run from Tony Dorsett all those years ago.

Tater took a wicked hit when he caught that first punt, I was a little surprised he was able to hold on to the ball.

Well Lions looked better than most expected.but another loss. :frowning: I blame it on the pussy play on 4th and 1 with 6 minutes.

Sure, Gronk is a good tight end, but he doesn’t have the wild, untamed facial hair of Joe Namath.
