And a multiplier wouldn’t be complicated, it wouldn’t require any different actions on the part of the players, it would just change the scoring system.
I would not say #5 (me) is close to #4 spot (~450 yds), let alone the #2 spot (~700 yds).
The multiplier really magnifies my ineptness at picking WRs which is somewhat understandable because I didn’t go the extra mile in analyzing defensive matchups. My picks were almost 100% off the cuff. I went who I think was hot, rather than who they played against. It obviously worked for quarterbacks, but not for the other two positions.
Again, I would go with two Running Backs picks one week, and then two WR picks the next week. There are more RBs and WR’s to chose from. (especially WRs).
I would think that a multiplier of 2.5 or even 2 would be better, mostly since there’s so much variance in the WR numbers that that category is more important than it’s mean scores would suggest.

Any interest in extending this out to the playoffs? We would have to reset it so that you could use any player - but the twist could be that you still couldn’t use any player twice in the playoffs. It would add an element of prediction - you’d want to predict who’s going to make the superbowl so you could save one of those QBs until then.
