I wasn’t sure if you should’ve been able to repick a receiver given the circumstances and that some of the rules (mostly submission time) were treated flexibly this season, but I didn’t end up reading this thread until sometime pretty close to the start of the late games anyway. I dunno. I would’ve been more sympathetic if it was some sort of last minute decision, but I think Marshall has been in the new for a decent amount of time. FWIW, if you’d picked Ochocinco anyway (the most obvious choice) you’d have lost anyway.
I would have thought it was a bit unfair to repick. Marshall’s game had already been played when I posted, so he would have been locked in FF.
I had already used Ocho. I think I would have gone with Austin if I’d made a last minute change, or Mike Sims-Walker if I’d thought about it more.
Austin had 90 yards; Sims-Walker had 28. Bah.

Wow, can’t believe I won. Trailed the whole year, mostly by a lot, then came on late and got really close, but I’d faded the last couple of weeks and thought I’d need a spectacular Week 17 (especially as **RNATB **had McNabb ad Chris Johnson going). I figured anything short of like 550 was probably a loss.
I feel bad for RNATB, actually, who basically lost because he didn’t hear about Brandon Marshall’s Week 17 benching in time.
Apologies for just now posting this but have been in “the wilds” and couldn’t let this end without congratulations to Varloz. Actually, everyone deserves a bit of that as there were flashes of genius throughout.
While gone I was wondering if and hoping y’all were doing this. It does add a pretty cool twist. Next year, perhaps?

Nah - we did have the droppable week, so had I not sucked earlier in the season (Week 7?) it wouldn’t have mattered. You won fair and square, and congratulations!
