Could you clarify what you mean?
Just Omni’s picks still due.
Just rolled out of bed, haven’t looked at any games yet.
Used Players:
QB - Carson Palmer, Joe Flacco, Eli Manning, Matt Schaub, Mark Sanchez, Ben Roethlisberger
RB - Thomas Jones, Ryan Grant, Cedric Benson, Ronnie Brown, Maurice Jones-Drew, Donald Brown
WR - Marques Colston, Roy Williams, Santonio Holmes, Larry Fitzgerald, Wes Welker, Roddy White
Week 8:
QB - David Garrard
RB - Matt Forte
WR - Miles Austin
All I can say to the two people who picked Slaton this week is… oops.
I would like to apologize to the fans of Jacksonville and Green Bay. Garrard and Driver will be dead within the hour.
Week 8
Passing - Philip Rivers SD – 249
Rushing - Thomas Jones NYJ – 102
Receiving - Antonio Gates SD – 49
400 yds
Uncanny. If only i’d checked your picks before I grabbed Garrard myself.
QB - David Garrard - 139
RB - Matt Forte - 90
WR - Miles Austin - 61
Didn’t think it could get worse than last week. Why didn’t I take Chris Johnson?!?
Slaton gained 1 yd this week.
Depending on how Steve Smith finsihes this week, I am making up some ground on you again this week.
Senor Beef you gave RNATB for 403 yds in your 10/30/09 11:55 pm post but he only had 401 yds. You had it correct in your spreadsheet though.
RNATB is so far ahead he does not need nay advantage. in fact he needs a vacation to the a place where the internet does not exist so he cannot make a pick for next week.
Oh dear.
139 + 45 + 56 = 240
Le roi est mort. Vive le roi!
King Mensa is after you, gaining a smooth 160 yds on RNATB in week 8.
So far, it has not been a great week for NFL fantasy picks. Peyton Manning is the only QB that has over for over 300 yds.
By picking Chris Johnson (Titans) for rushing, you could have gained a lot (he had 228 yds).
Just tuned over to NBC, and there is no game tonight. I guess they didn’t want to compete against the World Series.
Welcome to my world!
Tony Romo - 256
Steven Jackson - 149
Miles Austin - 61
lieu: Week 8 - 466
When Romo went to Austin the first play of the game I thought it might be a good day. Turns out they used him mainly as a decoy from them on, distributing passes to 10 players Sunday. Still, no fussing here about a win by the Boys.
Please don’t make a habit of this. I believe you didn’t cheat or anything so I’ll include your scores but requiring scores be in by kickoff is a reasonable and fair rule.
Standings are updated.
Weekly scores:
- Lieu 466
- Varlos 450
- notfrommensa 400
- Omni 290
- Wilson 280
- RNATB 240
- SenorBeef 203
Even in a week where half the league sucked, I still was the suckiest.
hmmm mixed emotions, I closed the gap on 1st place, but I lost a place in the standings.
lieu has been very consistent. His lowest week is 390 yds. He could skip this week and it would take a 503 yd week for me to surpass him.
Interestingly, the “drop week” actually benefits me now, since lieu hasn’t had a truly horrible week and I just did.
My Week 8 picks:
[del]Matt Hasselbeck, Santonio Holmes, Cedric Benson, Kurt Warner, Clinton Portis, Andre Johnson, Matt Schaub, Ryan Grant, Reggie Wayne, Kerry Collins, Darren McFadden, Jerricho Cotchery, Tony Romo, Rashard Mendenhall, Roddy White, Tom Brady, Maurice Jones-Drew, Nate Burleson, Ben Roethlisberger, Thomas Jones, Wes Welker, David Garrard, Kevin Smith, Steve Smith (CAR)[/del]
Peyton Manning
Brandon Jacobs
Vincent Jackson
By the way, I’m not really doing any error checking beyond a quick perusal of the spreadsheet to make sure everything looks alright. Please double check your own scores and indicate if there’s a problem … or if you happen to see where someone used the same pick twice without me noticing it, point it out.
