Hey guys, just checking in…I was a gambling fool at a casino in Palm Springs on Saturday (and won $830!)and I just came on here to see what I got…not bad, not the best, but I am glad I got Getzlaf in the 3rd round…I believe he’ll be one of the top 5 scorers by the end of the season…other than that, I think I might still end up in the thick of things.
I would say that at least make “drop dead” date October 2. If one of my players gets injured tonight, I think it’d be silly that I wouldn’t be able to make a replacement but dogbutler would. I know there is a game on Saturday but for the sake of ease, I’d ignore it.
I’m casting my vote for that. Of course, meek is the comish and if he doesn’t want substitutions, that’s his call. I’ve already used mine so it doesn’t matter much to me but it sounds fair to the rest of the players.
Dump your dog and find a star.
(There are still a lot of very good players that were not drafted.)

Got rid of Mara…he played only one game and was never heard from again.
So…Hello my fellow Cup winner, Francois Beauchemin!
Nice to see some of you guys catch up…freaking Cane lovers!
Just for the sake of it, we should do month end standings here to keep the thread bumped up, and to look back to see how we progressed (or in my case, regressed) throughout the season.
My leading scorer, with 4 points, is Antoine Vermette. I chose Marc Savard over Jason Spezza, knowing full well that Spezza was going to kill me for making that pick(Savard: 2 P, Spezza 10 P). Scott Gomez and Alexander Frolov have a single assist between them.
