  13. Trip’s Minot Muskies…77

As predicted, my hold on 1st place slipped because of the imbecile known as Chris Mason and Souray’s injury and lack of games played last week. Congrats to Kid_A and ICU812 for making a strong finish for the month.

Scott Gomez is killing me. 3 points centering Jagr? Come on. Micheal bloody Nylander put up 90+ points doing that. Shea Weber should be off of the IR soon which will give me a bit of a boost, but unless Gomez picks it up I won’t be making a move on the top guys.

Anybody want Brodeur?

I’ll trade ya! Mason for Brodeur. Deal or No Deal?

I’m gonna give him till at least December to see if he can step it up. He had a win last night at least. To be fair, it’s not all his fault…the guys in front have hung him out to dry several times. It’s disappointing that he was my first round pick. But the Canes are doing well. Did anybody expect Brindy to be one of the league leaders in scoring? I knew he would have a solid showing this season, but I have to say I’m astounded by his level of play at his age.

So, on Thursday after much agonizing I finally pulled the trigger and used my one transaction to dump Marc-Andre Fleury & pick up Marty Biron.

Hours later one of my d-men Kevin Bieksa gets his achilles tendon sliced apart by a skate. Possibly career-threatening.

AAARRGGGHH!

(and where the hell is Hossa?)

Brodeur is up for grabs. I dropped him for Pascal LeClaire. Hopefully it won’t come back to bite me on the ass. Have at it Yeticus, he’s all yours.

You guys had better be passing up Ray Emery because you’re unsure how the two goalie system with Gerber is going to work out.

I would have taken Gerber over Emery purely for sentimental reasons.

Dear Hockey Monkey,

Screw you and the Hurricane you rode in on.

Sincerely,
Rysto

Hee Hee…a Category 5 at that!

Kisses,
Hockey Monkey

Well, it was only 6 points tonight. I saw Stillman with the early hat trick and figured you were well on your way to another 18-point night. Fortunately, it seems that somebody snagged Stillman before you could.

**Dogbutler ** has Stillman and Staal. He picked up 8 tonight.

:Happy dance:

ohhh im glad theres a thread running!

Hey dogbutler, I think you need to check your team. Craig Rivet is listed as being on the bench for you, which would mean that you’re not getting the benefit of his points right now.

Oh, and as_u_wish? Watch your ass; I’m coming for you.

Sorry about the time between now and my last post. Been dealing with some issues regarding my team’s scoring (Owen Nolan, how could you do this to me!)

But, I’m back, and rearin’ to go. I think I assemblesd a pretty good team, although my picking of Pavelski was an inadvisable venture. Thought he would have a breaout year. Be put on Joe Thornton’s line, or something. But I used my roster move to bring in Mike Comrie, a more safe choice.
(Please, dear God don’t let that come and bite me in the ass!)

Oh, and Rysto?

(hears JAWS music in the background)
Ooooo, I’m really shaking now.

Catch me if you can! :stuck_out_tongue:

Langenbrunner off IR, and got me 2 tonight. The Canes were replaced by pod people during the 1st intermission, though.

Is that what happened to them? Ugh, glad I didn’t watch. I’ll be at the game Friday. Hopefully the real team comes back from Florida.
