That was brutal last night. Everytime I switched over from CNN the Panthers had scored another goal. All there is to do now is wait for the fire sale.

Seriously though…they have to get him to waive the no-trade and get something for him. Edmonton’s first round pick via Anaheim would make me very happy. OTOH, I hate the thought of him playing for another team, he should retire as a Leaf.
Ideally, he pulls a Tkachuk and comes back in the summer. But does he really want to spend the end of his career on a last place, rebuilding team?

Heatley is back on Thursday and Alfredsson is back on Saturday. That should jump start Spezza. He’s been out there with the likes of Randy Robataille and Chris Neil, which explains his decreased production lately.

I got straight up REAMED tonight, easily the most disappointing night of the season for me.
If I thought there was any hope of not ending up last, it evaporated with the loss of Brindy tonight. Damn it. He’s out for the rest of the season with a torn ACL. That puts me at 5 on IR or DTD. Puck!
If you have Jack Johnson, Dustin Brown, and Anze Kopitar, then I think you should be aware they may be on the IR for mental breakdowns after seeing them in action…here.
My Bluesfan team is staying healthy (where is that wood to knock on) and creeping up in the standings…if only they would do it in real life. How can they lose 5-1 to the Kings???
