Should the Panthers bother coming out for the third period at all?
It’s already being joked that the Panthers are the worst team to make a Finals since the Panthers. At least this time they won a game.
Good for the Knights, but it wasn’t a very compelling playoffs.
Tkachuk had a broken sternum. It is amazing that he played as much as he did after the injury in game 3.
I’d say Panthers beating the Bruins in 7 games in OT was pretty compelling.
But yeah, the finals were kind of a snooze
Out of 15 playoff series some will be good. You need more than a few for a good playoffs though.
Small consolation but the Calder Cup final was pretty good. Each home team won in the first six. Coachella Valley had relatively easy margins of victory. Hershey won three one-goal games, two in OT. That set up last nights game seven. CV took a two goal lead with one in each of the first two periods. Hershey scored twice in the second to tie it. Hershey won after about 16 minutes of overtime.
