I’m not crispy and I definitely will not be someone’s reward!
Scylla is pretty dreamy though…

Oh, come off it now, Demise. You’re a little crispy around the edges, aren’t you?
I heard that what really happened was that while he was moving his Chair of Ultimate Power [Sup]TM[/sup], his foot slipped and it went crashing down on his legs.
then, his wife, having watched a few too many movies, tied him to the bed (and not in a good way), breaking his legs and forcing him to eat a liver sausage sandwhich. Cold.
She then revealed that she’d been secretely altering his ballots over the years so that he’s really been voting Democratic, and had the chads to prove it.
He was last seen mumbling to himself something about “I should have married Hillary”

I’m here. Barely.
Moved yesterday (still have to get the tractor, horses, dogs and hay tomorrow.) Built a 1 1/4 acre 4 board fence today with rented machinery. Put an electric fence on top of it. Need to fence the pool tomorrow so Scylla the younger will be safe. Still alive. No close calls, but a few major annoyances. Got computer set up and am posting from new place.
Got a nasty blister, though probably not fatal.
Got computer setup, so here I am.
Wanted to post, so that any who were concerned about this or that other issue would know that I’m OK, if somewhat exhausted.
I see all kinds of things have been going on in my absence.
Oh well.
After tomorrow maybe things will calm down for me.
<obligatory tired old injoke>
Worst. Nondeath. Ever.
</otoi>
That’s what, about one board per .4 acres. How hard could it be?
Will it be electric? That’d be a quick lesson to stay away from the pool…
You can always tell the true geek/net addict when the computer is set up the first day and there are still boxes marked ‘Stuff’ eight months later.
You sure? No story to go with it? No maniacal belt sander craftily set on stun by evil eagles?
Glad you’re back. I hope the moving stuff gets completed. I’ve only done it twice, and I still can’t find all my stuff.
Ben, trying to be amusing but pretty much failing.
:eek:
