For those who watch the show regularly … fill me in on something. I only catch about 3 or 4 episodes a season, so some things escape me.
I saw a scene last night out of the corner of my eye and from another room. Troy was speaking to a table full of folks dressed in their black-tie best … apparently at some formal function. Then he says to the table something like *“To be a great surgeon, you’ve got to have two things steady hands, and a …”
ZIP!
“… stiff cock.”*
Then he proceeds to continue talking to the table with his junk, presumably, hanging out. The 40-ish/50-ish women at the table (wives of his fellow surgeons?) predictably swoon all over themselves, and Troy takes turns with most of them throughout the rest of the episode.
What the heck was going on? Was it a dream sequence or something? I know that within the Nip/Tuck universe, this need not be a dream, but still. That was a little over-the-top in regards to believability. Dude would be a professional joke if he pulled off something like that.
I though it was explained pretty clearly. Christian’s point was that a major facet of a surgeon’s competence is confidence, which, he averred, stemmed largely from cock-size. By casually displaying his dick, he was trying (and succeeding) to intimate the other candidates for the job.
